Memorable moments for me included watching the dance performances in the Convention Centre, taking in the sunshine on a park bench at Coal Harbour, dancing around to some Spirit of the West outside, and waiting for the DanceSport BC dancers to parade by on Burrard Street.
Best of all though, was to see my little girl Samantha, have the time of her life with her family and friends. Every year, it’s a tradition that Joel and I go out on Canada Day and meet up my best buddie from high school, Charmain.
Now that we both have 2 girls, it’s so great watch them grow and develop together as friends. Looks like they may turn out to be best buddies too!

Congratulations to DanceSport BC for being in their first-ever Canada Day parade! It was great to see the dancers dancing on the streets, getting the crowd all excited… especially some of our very own JC Dance Co. dancers! Hope everyone comes out to Robson Square on Friday nights to enjoy even more dancing downtown!
