Oh the Olympic spirit! Is it ever contagious! Everywhere you turn, you can see Vancouverites adorned in red scarves, toques and mittens, with CANADA embroidered across them. The funny thing is, in this beautiful, sunny, 10 degree Vancouver weather, it’s way too warm for these things! But hey, who cares?

The Grand Ballroom is holding their annual Chinese New Year Gala on Saturday, February 20th. Celebrate the Year of the Tiger with a delicious Chinese buffet dinner, as well as a Pro-Am and Amateur showcase. Not only will you enjoy a full night of dancing amongst friends, but you will be contributing to a great cause, as $5 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross Haitian Relief Fund. 
As you can see from this hard working and dedicated couple, success does not come easily. You have to be patient and focused; you have to work hard and be committed; and you have to have faith and believe strongly in what you are doing… All vital ingredients to get you to the top!
