Joel & Clara's mentors, Luca & Loraine Baricchi, former Professional Blackpool and World Champions, are coming to Vancouver on a regular basis to inspire Vancouver dancers on the true essence of Ballroom Dancing. They are currently planning their next trip to Vancouver, so we will keep you updated as their plans are solidified.

The UBC Gala Ball is one of the most fun and craziest competitions of the year, organized by the University students of the UBC Dance Club. This year, the event will be held at the Grand Ballroom in Richmond. It is a 2-day event, featuring Club Closed, Fun Events and Kids's competitions on the Friday evening, and a full slate of Adult and Senior events all day Saturday.
Every year, the Canadian Closed Championships are held on easter weekend. This year, it will be held in Calgary, organized by DanceSport Alberta. JC Dance Co. will be sending their students to compete for the national title. Good luck to all competitors!
The Island Fantasy Ball hosts the BC Closed Championships every year in Nanaimo. It's a great little trip to take the ferry over to Vancouver Island and enjoy the best dancing that our province of BC has to offer. Good luck to all JC Dance Co. students who will be competing for the Provincial title!
